Singapore's climate is warm and humid all year round, and so there is no 'best' time to visit the city. Temperatures are generally always high, averaging around 24°C in the mornings and evenings and around 31°C in the daytime. The temperature dips, but only slightly, between November and January when the monsoon season arrives. Phuket has a tropical monsoonal climate, with the rainy season beginning earlier than in northern Thailand, starting in May but generally ending late October. Apart from the period between mid-September and mid-October when the rain falls steadily, most monsoon days are rain-free save for showers in the afternoon. The best months to visit Phuket are from November to February, when temperatures are comfortable, skies are clear and blue and humidity is low. This is the high season, with the majority of visitors coming over for the Christmas and New Year period. Given Bali's proximity to the equator, the island's weather is reliably hot and sunny. There are two distinct seasons: the dry season lasts between May and September and the wet season runs from October to April. Even in the wet season it is likely to be sunny for a good part of the day, and the rainfall is never too high. The best time to visit Bali is between May and July, when temperatures are hot and the days are at their longest. Bangkok has a tropical monsoon climate and the highest average temperature of any city in the world. Temperatures in Bangkok regularly peak above 30°C throughout the year. The period between November and February is the driest period in Bangkok; September is the wettest month on average. The humidity levels also remain high during this period. The climate in Bangkok is at its hottest from March to August. If you visit between May and October expect short spells of rainy weather, with frequent afternoon showers, monsoons and spells of thunder at times. The Khao Lak weather is split into two seasons, the dry season from November to April and the wet season from May to October. The most popular time to visit is during the dry season, particularly at Christmas and New Year. Although there is still sunshine during the wet season and these days many restaurants, bars and shops remain open, sun bathing and swimming is not great during this period, so beach lovers are advised to visit during the winter months.
