This city-hopping tour begins on the east coast with the powerhouse of Shanghai. Explore the famous Bund area by the river, where you can catch a glimpse of old Shanghai and the remaining European buildings that still line the waterside. Journey to handsome Suzhou, dubbed the 'Venice of the East' for its canal system and attractive architecture which features many classical gardens. Travel west to Xian, where a wealth of Chinese history awaits you. Take a walk along the ancient city walls and uncover the mystique of the great Terracotta Army. Finishing the tour with an extended stay in Beijing allows you to explore its most notorious landmarks, including history-steeped Tianamen Square and the incredible Great Wall. Make sure to sample some of the city's famous nightlife and indulge in a drink or two whist enjoying panoramic views of the urban jungle.

Today you will visit the Yu Yuan Gardens with its beautiful Tea House on a small bridge
Today you will visit Suzhou to explore the Water Village, and see how the area remained unchanged over the centuries
Today you will take a sightseeing tour of Xian visiting the Shan Xi Museum and the city walls
Visit the famous Museum of Terracotta Warriors
Visit Summer Palace and then take a boat trip on Kunming Lake
Today visit the Great Wall of China and the Olympic Stadium
Visit Tiananmnen Square & the Forbidden City
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight
