With the finest restaurants and bars in the city, dining at Shangri-La Hotel, Guilin, is a culinary experience to savour. Shangri-La’s signature restaurant, Shang Palace, features a menu of the finest Cantonese, Hunan, Huaiyang and Guilin specialities. Li Café offers a tantalizing spread of international cuisine, while U Bar presents Guilin’s most authentic western grill. Guilin has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons and high humidity. Though Guilin is suitable for traveling all year round, and the Li River is beautiful in all four seasons, the most popular travelling time is from April until October.
