Kowloon's subtropical climate means that winters are generally mild and summers are hot and humid. The peak time to visit is between October to the end of December, when temperatures comfortably arm and sunny and nights are pleasantly cool. The months of January through early March are cold and rainy, and March and April are very changeable. May to September sees hot, humid weather with plenty of rain, and the city is at risk of typhoons.
