The Vijitt is a wonderful setting to explore the very best of Southern Thai cuisine and with the resident Thai chefs you can be assured of the highest quality dishes prepared with the freshest, local ingredients. Organic herbs, vegetables and fruits are picked from the hotels own resort garden such as succulent mangos, sapodilla berries and cashew nuts. The two restaurants specialise in classic Western dishes as well as mouth watering local flavours making dining a highlight of each stay, and if you prefer to have an intimate dinner in privacy the hotel can arrange in-villa dining in a romantic candlelit setting.
Phuket has a tropical monsoonal climate, with the rainy season beginning earlier than in northern Thailand, starting in May but generally ending late October. Apart from the period between mid-September and mid-October when the rain falls steadily, most monsoon days are rain-free save for showers in the afternoon. The best months to visit Phuket are from November to February, when temperatures are comfortable, skies are clear and blue and humidity is low. This is the high season, with the majority of visitors coming over for the Christmas and New Year period.
