"Six Senses Con Dao is situated in a breathtaking location, which has been protected for decades as a national and marine park."

Six Senses' philosophy is to select remote yet accessible destinations in areas of outstanding natural beauty, which is demonstrated perfectly through this stunning resort.

Six Senses Con Dao is delightfully remote, with a 45-minute flight from Ho Chi Minh City. It presents elegantly designed modern accommodations with generous personal space, lush tropical mangrove vegetation and breathtaking views out to sea. Each villa comes with its own private infinity pool and unobstructed water vistas. The hotel is contemporary in design and reflects the essence of a traditional fishing village. Passionate about supporting and protecting the environment, Six Senses Con Dao’s demonstrated commitment to sustainability has been recognized as one of the world’s top eco lodges by National Geographic Traveler.

Weather

Con Dao’s weather is temperate year round, with two seasons - Dry and Tropical. With over 80% of the island covered in rain forest, regular rainfall is around two meters each year, coming in short and hard bursts, as is typical for tropical climbs, so most of the day is still fine. Humidity averages around 80 - 90% so light comfortable clothing is recommended, but don't forget hats and strong sun lotion as you are only eight degrees from the equator. Although the warmest times of the year are typically June, July and August, with temperatures up to 37°C, onshore breezes make it feel cooler. March, April and May have less wind, with an average temperature around 33C. Cooler times of year are from September through January, with temperatures around 28°C.
